CB Oncology is proud to share that Dr. Serguei Castaneda, Radiation Oncologist and Chair of the NHMA Florida Chapter, will be a featured speaker at AARP Florida’s “Caring for Familia” Hispanic Wellness Forum on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Winter Garden, Florida.
This important event focuses on empowering Hispanic families with essential health and caregiving knowledge, from navigating cancer prevention and early detection to understanding Medicare, managing chronic conditions, and creating livable communities for aging adults.
Dr. Castaneda will deliver the opening keynote “Viviendo Bien,” where he’ll share expert insights on preventive care, early detection, social determinants of health, and culturally competent care. He will also moderate two fireside chats on aging with dignity in the Hispanic community and arthritis awareness through community movement initiatives like Walk with a Doc.
This event, held in partnership with the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA), includes bilingual access, live entertainment, and real tools for caregivers and older adults.
